Sports betting leader Proline strengthens its position with an expanded collaboration with the NBA.

The NBA has negotiated a massive deal with the sports betting brand of Ontario’s gaming Crown corporation. The news of Proline’s cooperation with MLB just hit the presses, and now comes this agreement.

Despite being primarily focused on the American market, the OLG recognizes the enormous relevance of these major sports leagues to Canadian fans and bettors. The iGaming business in Ontario has witnessed increasing pressure from industry giants like 888, thus Proline and Proline+’s partnership with the NBA will provide them a much-needed edge.

As the NBA’s most important asset for sportsbooks, the collaboration will grant OLG’s betting brand unprecedented and crucial access to NBA data.  Bettors will have access to up-to-the-minute statistics and odds thanks to this information’s incorporation into Proline’s infrastructure.

The official Proline brand’s digital and physical platforms will also have official NBA branding.

It’s important to understand that the cooperation has been going on for some time. A collaboration agreement between the OLG and NBA was inked several years ago, allowing sports enthusiasts to wager on the NBA Draft.

In reaction to the deal, NBA Associate VP of International Gaming and Data Ventures Kuljeet Sindhar said, “The organization is excited to work together with OLG and allow sports fans in the market to have more exciting betting options.”

Additionally, the NBA and OLG have begun discussions to collaborate on a variety of special material for the Proline+ platform, with the goal of enhancing customers’ overall enjoyment of NBA betting.

Chief Digital and Strategy Officer of OLG Dave Pridmore expressed the company’s excitement at the chance to bring NBA fans even closer to the action by giving them access to exclusive content and promotions available nowhere else.

That being said, it seems unlikely that Ontario’s rising competition will cause Proline and Proline+ to lose ground anytime soon.
